Once you determine the terrain (rocks, swales, etc ) in which posts must be anchored and type of material advised for a llama, you will have a better idea if your DYI abilities; also whether your time availability is workable. Have you marked off the area to determine how many posts must be set? Digging post holes and pulling wire fencing can be time consuming ; there is special equipment to make the job somewhat less labor intensive.
Personally, I'd talk with other llama folk in your community.... pick their brains. If this job is more than you want to tackle, get referals from other llama owners. If there are no livestock fencing companies listed on Angies, check with your local BBB..
