You can find a lot of previous similar questions with answers addressing moving compnay preferances, ballpark costs and where to find better cost estimates, insurance issues, etc in the Home > Moving link, under Browse Projects, at lower left.


My personal preference after a number of cross-country moves - Bekins and Allied - I think Bekins takes a bit more customer care but Allied can be REALLY quick about scheduling the packing/move and in getting it there.


One thing though - at least with Allied, don't believe their delivery estimate online - system may say it is 3 days away while the driver or local rep is calling you to say they are in town and ready to deliver the shipment.
