Approximately the cost to put collar ties and double band a carport and support put uprights in concrete post in

40 by 30 carport roof is falling in has no collar ties or support is not double banded the upright post are not supported need to be replaced no concrete on them have no lag bolts or anything garage has no back supports on the post and needs to be painted some minor electric electricity work needs to be done has to be rerouted and lights under the carport Outpost need to be removed and put back pressure treated 4 x 6 post to support the roof and put collar ties

Sounds like you need a Builder - Garages / Barns / Sheds or a General Contractor (your Search the List category to find well-rated vendors for this work). He or you will also need to get a Structural Engineer to evaluate it and recommend repairs and whether collar ties are appropriate and such - or may advise cheaper to tear down and start over, maybe with some materials reuse.


Note, depending on how it is failing, most roofs do not have collar ties. Do not know what you mean by double banding so can't help there. Depending on construction may or may not need back supports (angle braces) on the posts - if the connecting brackets to the carry beams are adequate they are not used (pretty much old school).
