Bathroom remodel - tub removal

I am trying to sell my house! It is a wonderful place but for it’s size the master bath is small. I am considering remodeling..but have little money to do it with. I want to convert the tub area to a walk in shower and put the tub in an adjoining closet that is quite large. This would mean plumbing! I am very handy and could probably do a lot of this work myself…it is the removal of the tub and the plumbing of the new one that I would need help on.

If you on the budget and you need remove tub and install Shower it's easy . Use existing plumbing only extend drain (if existing foucet old change ruber gaskets inside and you have new foucet again). Buy plastic shower pan 32x36 or 36x36 if area allow you second option ruber underlayment and mudbase need experience if you never done this do not do it chanse big screw up. adjust partition wall use plastic base.
You can do it base 32x60 or 36x60 it can be expensive and sliding shower door 60" cost around $500.00and up. 36" door cost around 120"
KeyStone product good quality and price. Install mosture barier around your tub walls installs durock and start Tile. Do NOT forget seal after you grout area better seal it next day. Buy sealer poor in spray bottle and just spray on Tile and leave it.
