much as I hate to recommend them, your best bet for a decent breeder is to contact the AKC, and then visit the breeder. Don't forget to check with the breeders local Better Business Bureau too. You also want to check with the breeders vet. BTW, it's a Blue Heeler.


Honestly, I'd recommend your local shelter. Unless you hunt, or run, or keep sheep or goats, a Heeler is a very active breed and will be miserable without some kind of job to do.

Why not rescue a dog that would otherwise not have a home instead of purchasing a dog that as being bread for sale?
