Critical - consideration of what is going to go on with water, snow, possible glaciering where the house roof and the deck roof intersect - VERY common place for problems.


Sheds are usually cheapest bought directly from a Builder - Sheds, or even more so, buying one of the prefab plastic ones - the Rubbermaid ones seem to last pretty well, though pop apart if they are not put on stable foundations.


If you want both of these stick-built, then you want a General Contractor.
