Depends on existing line size, existing gas demand in the house, etc as to whether you can tap off the house line, or have to go back to the meter. Generally have to go back to the meter to tap off for this sort of loads, especially if house is gas-heated or you have small-diameter gas tubing rather than 3/4 or 1" gas pipe in the house.

Also, for those lengths and demands, it is possible that it will take either a very large line (especially to the higher-demand item), or require that you run high-pressure gas from the meter to the destintion and then install a pressure reducer there to drop it down to appliance pressure. Can run around $1000-1500 commonly to install the gas piping and valves for a pool heater - gas grill can run from several hundred to the same amount depending on demand and distance - in your case with a very long run, sounds like the same $1000+ range unless it can tap off the line to the pool or vice versa. More if not easy digging or you do not dig the trench for them to run the lines.

I would also double-check the pool heater rating - 15,000 BTU is VERY small for a pool heater - more like a hot tub size. Commonly !00,000-400,000 BTU - is it possible you dropped a digit ? And if so, it is more likely that a high-pressure (service pressure) run to the pool will be needed.
