Question DetailsAsked on 9/29/2015

Can I use my Angie's membership in NC when my main home is in WI?

I use Angie's List in Middleton, WI where my main home is. However I have a vacation home near Topton NC in the mountains. The nearly "real" towns are Franklin and Murphy NC. I would like to find a carpet cleaner recommendation.
When I use the website, I get only carpet cleaners in Middleton. What should I do?

AL Customer Service will do a courtesy search for out-of-area vendors on a one-time basis (say not more than once yearly), but for your case I would either add an area to your Basic/Traditional membership for typically $10-20, or convert to nationwide Plus or Premium coverage for a bit more, as you desire. You can do this (when logged in) using the Manage My Account pulldown menu item under Account, at upper right of this and many other AL pages.

If already a Plus or Premium member, when logged in, on the Search page put the desired search area zip code into the Location box and hit Enter or Return - the refreshed page will now show Deals and Coupons for that area, and Search results will be for businesses in that area within the Search radius you have specified. (I honestly do not know if your previously set search radius transfers over when you change areas - you might have to reset that in the search options.
