Question DetailsAsked on 4/18/2018

Can I post an anonymous complaint to warn others?

My parents used a roofing co.for 10 yrs. I inherited the bldgs & found from other roofers just how bad the work is. 4 layers of roof not taken off in 1 bldg, repeated roof leaks at other bldgs, continuous patch work on other still leaking. I want to warn everybody. He uses non english speaking workers that do not know what they are doing!

Angies List does not allow anonymous reviews. If you are a full fee member (what is it, Gold or Platinum status) you can contact member services and talk to them about your complaint - though from what you say I doubt (since it does not involve direct fraud or such) that they will do anything - will probably say just to post a Review.

As I understand it, you do not have to use your actual name as your member designation, so using a web pseudonym as your Angies List "handle" would, if you are careful not to get too specific about number of buildings involved and such, keep him from knowing who posted the complaint.

If you are in a state where roofing contractors have to be licensed, you could also (though not anonymously again) file a complaint with the state contrator licensing board.

Obviously, time for you to look in the Roofing category in Search the List to find a new contrator for your roofing work.
