Should depend on the contract - though I have never heard of that long a time period except with purchase options or with subcontractor contingent-upon-award bids, where subcontractor bids may be "accepted" by the prime bidder but the actual contract can be cancelled by the prime within a certain amount of time if he does not win the contract.

On Angies List Deals - there is a 30 day cancellation window PROVIDED work has not begun or the contractor has not put post-bid labor effort or materials purchases or such into the job - i.e. provided the job has not "begun".

If your question is about Angies List membership - there is no charge for membership listing. Read the fine print on the sign-up documents or contact business services about cancellation policies on Deals or Coupons or Advertising on AL - and on something of this importance do not take the word of a rep - get a copy of the written contract agreement in writing !
