Crazy animals

Let's talk about your crazy animals. I have 4 - a chemically imbalanced coonhound, a couple of insane tom cats and one hungry deer that eats everything in my yard.

I have a couple of amoebas. At least, I think it's two -- it might just be the same one after it divided. [:P]

About a year and half ago, I handed a large squirrel a piece of saltwater taffy. He accepted it, but I'm not sure what happened after that. I hope he's OK.

I have a 120+ pound German Shepherd that is not crazy in his own right but the opossum that has been in my garage each night for the last week or so is making him a bit nutz.

Went to the store and bought a trap (kinder 'n gentler trap) so I could catch the invader and he hasn't been back in the two nights since. I don't know if it was the 20 minutes we spent eye to eye a couple of nights ago or the rat poisen he found and nibbled on.

Ah well, I do have a nice trap.[;)]

A friend of mine came over and slapped a squirrel. Slapped that furry little guy right off of our fence... He hopped right back up, looked somewhat bemused, and trotted off like it was the most natural thing in the world.
