Do you need to get a gas fireplace cleaned or inspected?

need inspection when installed. should be cleaned every year if you are useing it alot. the tip needs to be cheacked cleaned or replaced.

To make it simple, any gas burning appliance should be inspected annually. Not because we (as contractor) say so but because the manufacturer and the CDC say so. A gas burning appliance can potentially harm you if not serviced on a regular bases. Most people get sick and/or die from carbon monoxide poison due to these appliances. Most people know about this but they do not make the connection with the appliances and our media doesn't give the whole story when reporting on this issue. There are usually three main causes, which are: poorly installed equipment (cheap guy price), old outdated equipment/excessive use beyond its years, or equipment operating outside of the manufacturers' recommended settings because it's never been serviced.
