Question DetailsAsked on 6/4/2011

Do we need the restrictor valve anymore?

I am on a community water system serviced by a well. I have good water pressure at faucets before the house. I have 2 faucets on the side of the house that if either are turned on,cuts water in the house down to nothing. Years ago we had a restrcter valve put on the main line at the house to cut the pressure down, could this be the problem. If neither of the outside faucets is on, there is plenty of water in the house. Wondering if restricter should be removed as pressure is not a problem anymore as many more homes are on the system now....Thanks
