Question DetailsAsked on 8/11/2016

Does placing an ID theft protection card in my handbag protect the whole bag?

If I place 1 ID theft protection card in my wallet will it protect any other chip cards that are in my bag but not in the wallet?

The pouch type protectors only protect correctly if the cards are in the pouch, though can partly protect cards in the same slot or pouch in the wallet, but don't count on it.

The credit-card type protector (usually have a metallic mirror-like surface on the back) work only if there is one on each side of the card(s) to be protected - you can put several cards between two of the protection cards, but need to be in same slot or pouch in the purse - if you put electronically readable cards in multiple slots in the wallet, you need a pair of the protector cards in the front and back of each pouch or slot. Does not measureably matter which way the protector cards face in the pouch or slot.
