Question DetailsAsked on 11/10/2011

Follow-up to: How do I vent pet odor out of a basement room without losing heat this winter?

Thanks for the feedback a couple of months ago - I'd like more info after looking at the scrubbers you mentioned. The room in question has hot water baseboard heat so there's no existing vent system. Which of the products on the web site would be appropriate for this application and how could I get installation in Boulder, CO? Thanks SO much in advance! Brian

Glad I could help, If you have an HVAC person you like to use. I can give them my reps name for the air scrubber.

He will be able to walk him thru the install process and supply the product.

Since you have no vent system you will need to go with Item # US40661B. It is a portal unit that just plugs into the wall. So no install is needed. You will need to call 866.736.0503 to order it. I can not sell this in CA due to the ozone laws here. The Ozone is what takes care of the orders.

I did buy a portal unit before the law came into effect for my RV and love it. Read the instruction that come with it and you should be good.

Have a Great day.

if the air scrubber is fiancially unacceptable go with a LOCALIZE DEHUMIDIFIER .since you hot water heating in the basement you need to remove the excess drampness in the basement odor tends to be carried with the humin. than a dry atmosphire.
