Going rate to wire brush and prep a iron fence

What is the going rate to wire brush and prep wrought iron fencing and then paint it per lineal foot?

You can find a few previous similar questions with answers in the Home > Painting or Homne > Fencing link in Browse Projects, at lower left - but it is really going to take several painter bids to tell you the rate for your labor cost area, fence condition, fence intricacy and element size, height, etc. Given the time of year, weather considerations might come into it too.


Whether you want only the loose rust removed and then treatment with a rust fixative and painting, or complete rust removal to bare metal and repriming and painting also makes about a 2:1 or more difference in cost.
