I know there was a previous similar question abvout that brand in the Home > Water Treatment link under Browse Projects, at lower left - also a couple of other links about salt-free systems.

Try putting Evo Clear into the Ask box above - I got it to pop up once but would not link because of a server error - maybe AL is doing their nightly update cycle.

My basic recommendation - if your issue is sediment or odor or taste in the water some non-salt filtration or treatment systems work fine - but if the issue is iron or hard water basically they do not cut it for residential purposes or are uneconomic, like one neighbor I had on well water who was was having to chang cartridge elements weekly despite a once or twice yearly advertised frequency - at about $25-30 per change out.
