Question DetailsAsked on 5/26/2011

Has anyone had any serious issues with their Cricket phone in the South Central Kansas area?

I'm looking to switch cell phone providers from Verizon - with which I've had for over 8 years - to a company that's less expensive but just as reliable. I want to steer clear of anything having to do with extended contracts, so I'm seriously considering a Cricket phone.

Try ATT's pay as you go, no monthly fee, only get charged for what you use, need more minutes pay more etc. I use it and it works for me. Good luck!!!

We bought TracFone from either HSN or QVC - TV selling channels. The phone was free and came with a year's service and double minutes. You pay for the minutes you use but you have to buy them in blocks. Also can get a monthly flat fee. The service is as good as Verizon but the per minute charge is the same no matter when or where you call. Your minutes roll over to the next period as long as you stay with them. You can upgrade phones, too, and not lose minutes. Can order from them or pick one up at places like Target.

Right now they have one offer of 30 days with 30 minutes included for $10.
