This is a nationwide forum so very unlikely anyone from your area will see it. You could try local woodcarvers club to see if any member is interested - or try Craigslist.

You can find a number of previous questions about giving away trees in the Lawn and Garden > Tree Service link in Browse Projects, at lower left, including input on the liability risks of letting a stanger come and cut it up in your yard.

Easiest way to get rid of - buck into handlable lengths (fireplace or twice fireplace length - 16" is standard "fireplace length") and put out near the street with a FREE sign and tree type labeled on them - will usually vanish in days if not hours if not rotted. Smokes and smoulders badly unless cured and also quite dry - good for firestarter and recreational fires wood because when dry burns fast and easily and clean, but very low energy value so not a very good heating fuel.
