Generally speaking, around $3-5/SF is normal, which works out to $250-400/CY which is in the normal range for very small jobs, assuming fairly good access for concrete truck or concrete mixer and buggy - typically a 3' wide gate is NOT enough, 4' usually enough for a buggy and prortable mixer. Obviously, the further from the drive and more up or downhill, the more the cost. Also, for only a 1 CY job you might be more up to the $500 range - that is an awful small job to mobilize a portable mixer for, but just a bit large for wheelbarrow mixing - so your per-yard cost will be higher.

For your job you are talking only about one cubic yard of concrete, so this is definitely not a readymix truck job - this is wheelbarrow sized and a 3 foot wide gate access is fine to wheelbarrow from as close as a truck can get to a cement mixer. In fact, for this size job I might even use a concrete buggy to haul sacked material to the mixer and use sacked concrete mix, although that would take about 60 sacks (60#).

You are looking for a small concrete contractor or landscape contractor who does small patios and sidewalks and such.

I am looking for somebody to do a similar job. A 9ft by 9ft square. Please let me know if you find someone. I can't seem to get anybody that wants to do a small job.
