Silicone caulk - usually mild (not hot enough to burn it or damage paint job or clearcoat - hair drying temp) to heat it, then rub off with thumb friction along it, or very dull rounded edge piece of plastic or plastic body filler mixer spatula when silicone is heated.

Silicone "waxes" and paint sealers - usually a wax/adhesive stripping agent like is used to remove bumper sticker adhesive. Check with manufacturer on removal methods on cars (usually on container or box, also at website). 3M makes ones called 3M Adhesive Remover and 3M Caulk Remover which work well, but test in an obscure (maybe under rocker panel or wheel well) place to be sure it does not take off the paint - and wash off well immediately after job is done to prevent longer-term paint lifting.

Sometimes (be careful what it is doing to your paint and sealant) WD-40 will take it off, sometimes paint thinner (mineral spirits). Of course laquer thinner and acetone and xylene will most likely take it off, but likely to take the paint too.

With each of these, the key is a fresh rag or paper towel surface with each swipe, and wipe only towards the center of the affected area to prevent spreading it over more area.
