Unless you are in an area where sod is rare, generally about $0.25-0.50/SF, though up to $1.50/SF for exotic varieties.

Total installed costs for a normal yard with good access for their laying machine (takes a vehicle sized gate, not just a mangate) run about $1.00/SF for common varieties, to around $2/SF with more difficult surface prep, hard access, exotic blend, or need for a thick topsoil layer under it due to rocky or adverse soil type. Of course, can be much more if major earthwork is needed to level the yard - above prices assume rough grading is already done.
