How much to charge per square foot including prep work

You say nothing about what type of work this is for, so a meaningful answer is not possible - could range from as little as under $1/SF for say prep and prime drywall to a million $ say for cosmetic surgery on a major movie star's face.


Plus - this sort of sounds like you are a contractor rather than a consumer - in which case, asking someone on a website how much to charge sounds like an invitation to failure - too low a number you lose your shirt on the job, too high and you might lose a job you need to get. If you do not know how much to charge and cannot figure it out from your own experience, you probably should not be bidding on the work.
