How much does it cost to install a restaurant hood?

I have purchased a restaurant hood but the manufacturer only builds but does not install the hood. I am wondering how much it costs to install an 11 foot hood in an open space. No obstructions in the ceiling whatsoever. The space is currently an empty shell. The hood will be the first thing we install along with make-up air unit. Thanks.

In bare shell situation, probably about $500-800 is what I would expect if you have normal attic rafters/trusses to carry the weight - more like pushing $1000-1400 if you have an unusual roof framing that requires separate supporting framing for the unit, or if it is unusually heavy (more than the normal few hundred pounds one would expect for an 11 foot stainless or thin sheet coppear hood) like if it is heavy copper or cast iron.

If this is going where there is no previous hood wiring, or needs a separate circuit depending on the horsepower of the fan unit (like if going with original restaurant hood fan and grease filter unit), could be around $200-600 additional for electric power to it and switch.
