How much does it cost to purchase and pay for the installation of an inexpensive bedroom door

My bedroom door has an unsightly hole in it. I want to know how much it would cost to purchase and install an inexpensive new door.

1) cheapest solution - some wood dough to patch the hole, then a poster over the door to cover the patch. (Works good for kid's doors that get banged up a lot).

2) if you are a bit home handy and is standard sized door, and your hardward is standard sized (uses standard offsets from edge), get a predrilled veneer door panel at a box store, finish it yourself, mount hinges and hardware and install. 3) otherwise, a Door and Window contractor can install one for $50-100 for the door depending on whether only the door or prefinished prehung door and frame, plus about $50-100 for door only to maybe $100-150 prehung prefinished door and frame installation, assuming your existing door is a standard size.
