How do i fix my dishwasher?I put regular dishwash soap in my dishwasher. It backed up and suds flowed out. Took out suds and water.

I put regular dishwasher soap in my dishwasher and it overflowed with suds and water. I took out them out and put 1/2 cup of vegetable oil in the washer to cut the suds and ran for 5 minutes. I plan to remove all dishes, wash by hand. I'll then run the washer on normal with dishwasher fluid. Will that fix it? It's a Bosch auto dishwasher.

    (Recommended by the Manufacturers):
Open dishwasher and pour in about 1/2 cup of olive oil. This oil will rapidly break down bubbles. Start the dishwasher and run through a cycle. Throwing a handful of salt and one more 2 minute rinse cycle won't hurt.Done.
