If you mean a foundation in bare ground (to build on top of or move a building onto) typically in the $5-10/SF of foundation wall area for the construction of cast concrete or concrete footer with concrete building block (CMU) foundation wall including footer, assuming normal crawlspace to full-height foundation height and no unusual soils loads or high groundwater dewatering issues. Plus around $3-6/SF for concrete floor slabs - or just that amount for a slab-on-grade foundation in areas without expansive ground or significant frost penetration.

The excavation of the foundation trench (for a foundation into the ground without basement) commonly about $7-20/LF depending on depth - assuming fairly readily digable soil with a backhoe, not extreme hardpan or bedrock or giant boulders.

Full basement excavation, again assuming readily backhoe diggable and not needing substantial dewatering, commonly about $4-12/CY depending on diggability - assuming spreading the excavated material right around the basement perimeter, not including hauling the excavated material away, which might add $2-5/CY depending on whether the material is suitable for another job or has to be hauled to disposal site. (Plus commonly 6-12 inches of over-excavation for the basement in the excavation quantity, plus $500-1000 structural/drainage fill put back in under slab)

Of course, these are all ROUGH ballparks - every case is unique, and of course whether or not you are putting in a crawlspace or basement matters a lot, and of course foundation depth ifnot full basement, depending on frost penetration depth in your area.

Normal Search the List category for this would be a Builder - Houses or General Contractor for the total job including house construction, if a trailer or house move some House Movers do it all, for the foundation and excavation only Concrete or Mason for the foundation as applicable, Excavation would be the Search the List category for the excavation.
