You can find a ton of responses to that type question in the Home > HVAC link under Browse Projlects, at lower left - assuming you mean the evaporator coil only, commonly in the $1500 plus or minus $500 range.

If an older unit, also look at the responses in those questions about the risk of sinking too many $ into an old unit which may not last, versus putting in a new unit which may well be more efficient so save you money (especially in your power cost area) and come with a warranty.
