Hi Guest,

In category search results, providers are placed in groups according to their recent grade and number of reviews. Those companies then rotate randomly within their groups so that the same service provider doesn't appear first on Angie's List each time. At our members' request, providers who are highly rated and offer Angie's List discounts are placed in a group at the top of the search results.

In keyword search results, providers are returned in order of those who best match your search term. Those providers who average an "A" or "B" rating are invited to advertise an Angie's List member discount at the top the results.

To sort providers using different criteria, such as distance or name, use the "Sorted By" drop-down menu above search results.
