I have a 35 year old electric coleman furnace in my mobile home, how much will it cost to replace the blower motor

There is a new carrier a/c unit installed and it keeps freezing

The motor itself, depending on furnace model, from something around $100 to around $250 (as low as $70-150 at some discount and box stores) - installation cost by a technician probably in the range of $125-250 - the Coleman's I have worked on it was a very simple swapout taking a half hour or less.


If the blower is not working (or running real slow) then yes your A/C evaporator coil would commonly be freezing up. If it continues to freeze up after the blower is working right, then could mean it needs cleaning (not enough airflow going through it), or that is has a leak.
