Question DetailsAsked on 5/1/2017

I have a Samsung 55" LED Smart TV and it has a cracked screen, the backlight works just fine. Fix? Price?

The model Number is UN55KU6290FXZA. I would really like to get this fixed because it was a gift. Everything powers up just fine, I just need a replacement screen and I can put it in but I cant find any anywhere.

Here are some links to sources - generally, an indicidual cannot buy major components from either the TV manufacturer or the original scereen manufacturer, so you have to go to specialty parts houses like listed below - or buy one off a TV repair shop, though most will not sell just the parts except for remotes and cables and such, because they would be costing themselves business:

And of course places like eBay, though you don't know what you are going to be getting for sure - and shipping on a 55" TV is expensive to find out thepart you need is broken in the TV you buy from there.
