Question DetailsAsked on 6/22/2012

I contacted a general contractor/remodeling company, he came out to do an estimate, how long does it take typically? It has been two weeks.

Scope of work include 380 SF bamboo wood floor replacement, total gut and re do bathroom.

He may be backlogged and having to research to locate the replacement flooring to match. He should have called you so you'd know he hadn't forgot about you. We are human and time flies when we are busy. Give him a call and ask if he is working on your estimate. If he doesn't get back to you within a day or so find someone else.

Call another contractor, if they haven't gotten back with you in a couple of day for an estimate, what are they going to do to you once the job starts?
