Hi Paul,

This is Robin K. in Member Care. I'm happy to help!

You can search for providers by name by following the steps below:

1. Login here
2. Put the name of the provider in the search bar and select "search"
3. Select the name of the provider you're interested in to view their profile

If you need assistance searching or you are unable to find a particular provider, please send us the name of the provider and any other contact information you have. We'd be happy to look into this for you.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. You can respond to this thread or submit a new Answers post. You can also reach us at memberservices@angieslist.com. We're happy to help!

Sure - but remember the Angies List search engine is a dinosaur, so don't expect Google-like results from it - I recommend using a single search word then select from the ruturns you get. Use a unique word - like first word of the name. Say if company name is Fred's Doors search for Fred (avoid symbols and such). If name is Furniture By Francis us Francis as the search phrase to reduce the size of the return list.

Another way to approach it which can find profile pages that do not come up on AL searches - first log into AL so it knows you are a member (which plants cookies in your browser saying so), then google a phrase like this - Freds Doors Angies List - you can also put the town name into the search phrase to narrow the return list. Then look for the appropriate company hit which includes the following - /companylist/ - in the url - the ones with "companylist" in the web address are the company profile pages. Click on that link, and it will open the profile page on the company.
