Question DetailsAsked on 11/15/2011

I was told by one of your employees, that if one advertises you don't pay monthly rate. You only pay if you get someone to work for you

When I first put my info. on Angie's list I had lot's of questions, and I call on Your help line. I spoke to a nice young man, and I had put in $3.25. He told me as a Vender I didn't have to pay a fee. And he was going to work on getting me my money back. But I didn't realize that you were going to take it out, each month. He was such a big help I said just forget the money. Any way, can I please get out of that $3.25. It's going to add up? Thank you.

I'm sorry, I'm a little confused. From what I understand, you're currently listed as a service provider on Angie's List, correct? Not all service providers are advertisers, and Angie's List is NOT a pay-for-leads service. We do allow providers to register, free-of-charge, at business.angieslist.com. A and B rated providers are given the opportunity to advertise in the form of a coupon to our members. If you mistakenly signed up as a member when you were trying to register your business profile and would like to cancel your membership, please give us a call back at 1-888-944-LIST (5478) and we'll be happy to help.
