Question DetailsAsked on 8/27/2017

I have a trane with bad condenser coil in attic. 2 estimates from 1885 to 2200 to repair. Is that right?

The price includes the cost of the replacement unit of $500

Depends a LOT on brand/model, and on the accessibilitiy (usually poor in attic units) - sometimes can come in around $1000 in the best case (assuming the coil itself is not being replaced free by the manufacturer under warranty), more commonly around $2000 range installed - so sounds like you are right in the normal range to me. if in doubt, though with 2 bids looks like you have tightly bracketed $2000 range, you could always get a third bid from a well-rated and reviewed Heating and A/C contractor (your Search the List category).
