I'm trying to write a review and I don't know whether "A" is good or if "F" is good! Instructions would be helpful

Think school report card - A is best, C is minimal without dinging the contractor (potentially putting him in the doghouse or getting him suspended for very bad work or practices), D and F are serious thumbs-down that causes Angies List to investigate or blacklist the contractor if validated - give a D or F and they will likely be contacting you for more info and to verify your case unless that contractor already has other similar bad ratings.

Note non-members can do reviews, but their input does NOT affect the ratings. But there are both paid and free classes of membership now.
