Insurance Problems


We have coverage with AIG Insurance and have had a loss. The ajuster keeps coming up with reasons to delay settlement. I wonder if it has to with the Company's daily cash account, collection of interest on monies not paid.

That may be true, but also they may be hoping that you will eventually give up and they won't have to pay at all, or that you will accept a reduced settlement.

The best way to deal with this is to contact your state insurance commissioner detailing the problem. You issue will go away very quickly as the larger the insurance company the less they want to deal with the state commissioner. Good luck
