Americas Health Brokers is a wholly owned subsidiary of Homeland HealthCare, Inc. Homeland is a provider of limited medical, hospital indemnity plans. These plans are designed for those that do not qualify for traditional major medical health insurance.

If you have been declined by multiple insurance companies, then this might be a good alternative for you. Having said that, hospital indemnity plans offset the cost of care and they do not prevent medical bankruptcy like a traditional plan. For this reason, many people choose to go uninsured before purchasing a hospital indemnity plan like those sold from AHB.

In addition, their disclaimer on the bottom of their site pretty much sums it all up.

THE BLANKET ASSOCIATION GROUP COVERAGES ARE NEITHER WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE NOR MAJOR MEDICAL INSURANCE COVERAGE. INSTEAD, IT IS BLANKET ASSOCIATION GROUP FIXED INDEMNITY INSURANCE COVERAGE THAT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A SUBSTITUTE FOR MAJOR MEDICAL INSURANCE, HOSPITAL-SURGICAL INSURANCE OR OTHER TYPES OF BASIC HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAG.
