Question DetailsAsked on 1/12/2015

Is it legal for a medical doctor to write prescription medications for his/her spouse?

e.g. a psychiatrist prescribing, sleeping pills (also for him but in her name), psychotropic medications, anti-depressant medications, etc...that the spouse didn't need, (nor was ever professionally diagnosed outside of the psychiatrist spouses' own diagnosis) but was manipulated into the belief that she needed, through a psychological technique called "gas lighting". The prescribed "treated" spouse later found out the cocktails of medication were to keep her docile, oblivious and compliant while the psychiatrist spouse was engaging in extramarital affairs and unethical sexual behaviors with patients. This went on for approximately 10 years (the drugging), the affairs, who knows how long. The psychiatrist spouse is a Malignant Narcissist/sociopath, so for the spouse to confront him is dangerous.
