Looking for someone to disassemble dryer to place in my basement.

My doorway is 24 inches wide.

Appliance Repair - Large would be the proper technician for that - and note, you are talking disassemble AND reassemble and test, not just disassemble. And not all washers/dryers break down small enough for a 24" door - the welded metal frame the sheet metal exterior panels are mounted on may or may not be that small. So I would guess probably $200 minimum and probably more like $300, maybe more than that for that job including disassembly, move (might well need a second hand for that), reassemble, and test.

Another option, depending on how your door is configured, would be to permanently widen the doorway so it is large enough for washer and dryer (and furnace and water heater, if applicable) in the future - or if the rough opening would be large enough if the door and/or frame is removed, to just remove them temporarily while the dryer is changed out or moved.

Door itself and the trim stop strips (mid-frame strips the door closes against) you can probably remove yourself easily, if that would be enough space. Otherwise, probably $100-150 range for a handyman to remove the entire door unit and help move the appliance downstairs, then put back in.
