NO water is refilling the tank after flushing. What could the problem be?

Toilet suddenly stopped refilling. No prior problems.

Assuming no one shut off a shutoff valve on you without telling you, sounds like fill valve has stuck - or the float is stuck at the high point despite the tank being empty (assuming a normal tank-type toilet). Some times s stuck float can be just jiggled loose, or the guide bar/rod may need wiping down to remove iron buildup or algae or such which may be making it hang up.
