Moving is the Search the List category to find well-rated and reviewed moving companies.

Start either by googling for localmoving and transfer companies, then checking on Angies List to see if they are listed and rated. Or choose the long-distance mover you would choose (or a couple) and ask if they do pack and load only jobs, or if they use a local transfer and storage company for their jobs (many companies do use local T&S companies in most areas, using their own crews only in largest cities) if they will give the name.

One other which I know NOTHING about, but U-Haul does have ads on their truck for loading/unloading and packing/unpacking help through them - presumably only if renting a U-Haul truck though.

Note if using local packing/loading firm to be sure they are insured - though if moving yourself getting an insurance claim paid would be REAL tough if you are not using a cross-country moving company both to pack / load and to unload / unpack, because they could easily claim you damaged the item hauling or unloading it.
