Question DetailsAsked on 4/7/2017

New unit, coil, conversion kit, lines, system flush BUT ...

No new air handler. Being brand new to a house that has central air, I don't feel I know all I should. There was top of the line system in my house - once upon a time - but it's a goner now. It is an R22 system as well. I'm planning on getting the new system (A something). Anyway I was given a great price but then realized (after research) the air handler will NOT be replaced for that price. It's the unit, a flush of the system, new coil, conversion kit and line set. Am I setting myself up for a problem if I don't include an air handler? Thanks.
