Paint the wall & install vinyl floor in the kitchen

I would like to know when the contractor come to paint the wall and install the vinyl floor in the kitchen, except the stove/range, fridge and dishwasher, do I need to remove all the dishes, glasses from the cabinets kr if I can shut the doors tight ok? Thanks.

You need to discuss this with your contractor ASAP - because if he is just protecting the cabinets from the paint and running the flooring up to the baseboards/toekick, I see no reason to remove anything.

If he is removing the cabients (uppers for painting and/or lowers to run the flooring in under them) then certainly they need to be empty - because they willbe tilted in handling, plus the dishes make them too heavy for normal worker to handle safely.
