Our Barcalounger drags the underlip portion of the footrest whenever my husband gets out of the chair...

It's the portion that fits under the footrest and folds away when the chair is in the reclined position, then doesn't fold back under the footrest when the chair is in an upright position making it difficult to get out of the chair. Any suggestions as to how to correct this?

Brother, 56, has hep c with advanced cihrosis of the liver,and took the chemo for it a year ago. He is waiting for the next drug's FDA approval as his doc says he is a good candidate for it.
Meanwhile he has stomach cramping almost daily,which the doctors say are unrelated to the hep C. And he has occasional incidences of fever. Last night he awakened with chills and 102.8 temp. They have not been able in all the testing, to find the source of the cramping. He feels okay except for that. I am wondering if the fever and cramping are related.

After 7 spine surgeries I can still walk but have permanent nerve damage per 2 EMG's. My hip in the upper buttock area has now become very painful after walking for a short while. Like one store. Does that sound like it's from the Arachnoiditis?

I've had the opportunity to talk to lots of car guys and gals over the years and it always seems like having a fair amount of disposable income is the only way to get involved in the hobby.

This is a brand new mobile home. It was just hooked up in November. We have checked pipes in that area for leaks and have not found any. It sounds like drips from condensation? Sometimes you can here this drip noise as much as 48 in one minute.You can hear it up the vent pipe. The vent caps have been changed twice. We have checked the hot water tank, toilets, shower and sinks.Could it be coming from inside the sewer and echoing up the vent pipe? The guys from the park can't find the problem. Any suggestion?

I had 5 back surgeries over 10 years. Each doctor took out the old metal and replaced with new. Now all my c's, t's and l's are fused. On 11/13/11, I went to a local ER because of a popping sound in my low left back. The er doctor and radiology techs all agreed I had a broken rod. Two months ago my Dallas neurosurgeon told me I was fine and sent me home. He disagreed with the "broken rod" theory. I have had two more of those sounds. Can no longer use the brand new law degree I obtained 6 days before I fell on a wet floor. I am age 70. A friend told me one of his friends had the same pain until a surgeon removed all of the metal in his spine. Apparently, he has no more pain. Is that possible? I was a healthy and vibrant woman until the first procedure. I can no longer work. I am a burden to myself.

Is a "proposal" considered a legal contract? I signed one with a flooring company and have changed my mind about letting them install it.

I signed a "proposal" a year ago to buy 2400 sf of flooring and have them install 1400sf of it in a renovation I was doing. I gave them $8000 of the 12000 total and asked them to hold the material for a few months as my builder had just gotten a dwi and I'd need to find omeone else. They said "no problem" of course. Meanwhile, I've become convinced that their proposed method of installation would cause problems in a year or two. When I asked them to work with me ie either take up the old floor first or let me pay for the material but no installation, he said he would pull the paperwork and look for a solution, and call me back, but that was weeks ago and he won't return my calls. Must I let them install it their way? What should I do next? I told him I would buy all the material even though I don't really want or need it and that I would be willing to pay a cancellation fee or restocking fee if that would work better for them. Meanwhile they have had my money for almost a year.Thank-y
