Residential Porch Enclosure-Chicago

I live in a nice area of Chicago which is composed primarily of family homes. I have a porch on the back of my home which is structurely sounds and roof covered. The previous owners installed screens and storm windows but I am looking to have the walls built up from the porch floor about 48" or so and permanent windows and screens to make a 3 season porch out of the space. I have tried countless times to find a contractor to do this work but almost all will not handle such a small job. I did receive an estimate from a firm in Chicago called Nice N Tyte. The guy seemed like he would be great to work with but never heard back from him. Could anyone recommend a contractor who would be interested in doing this kind of work? Will, Chicago Illinois

That's the trouble with these home improvement hustlers, they dislike small jobs. They want a big job like siding and windows, roofing or whatever that takes a lot of material (big mark up) that they can put up and leave, slam ,bam, thank you ma'am. I think there is a market out there for a craftsman type who will take on small jobs, do them right, and charge for his expertise. He will prosper with more work than he can handle.
