Sure - anything can be repaired. But in your case - likely not a TV problem at all, especially if you can go through the TV control menu with the remote and the instructions/choices appear OK on the screen.


Sounds like either your cable box or antenna has gotten disconnected, or the INPUT parameter on your TV has been changed - maybe to a gamebox or DVD or VCR player instead of cable box or antenna input signal, say. Try finding the INPUT (or SOURCE or similar sounding name) in your TV setup menu and reset it to CABLE or ANTENNA or whatever input device it uses to get TV signal.

Also - check cable connections - some are push-in rather than threaded, so might have pulled one partway out cleaning or such.


Or if you have teenager(s), ask if they reset it to a gamebox or such and to set it back for you.
