Shower spout

The diverter spout in my bath/shower has been sticking but you could usually get the shower to work then;- water would flow slowly out of the shower and tub spout before coming sufficiently out of the shower so it could be used - shower would start to pulsate even though the shower head has no such setting - finally no shower as there was just a small amount of water coming out the tub spout. If I replace the diverter will my shower work again?

Try taking off the shower head then pull the diverter. If water comes out you need to clean or replace your shower head. If no water comes out and the diverter is keeping the water from coming out of the spout you may need to replace the entire valve. Hope this helps!
