Question DetailsAsked on 9/15/2012

Trying to find the value of a 1997 Patriot mobil home. When I try, I get everything but the answer. Please. HELP!

It is on a lot at Bolder Ridge, Pflugerville, Tx. It appears to be in fair to good condition. I can't see it until the end of next week. They 'have to clean it up'. I want to pay for it and I was told that the upper end would be around $25,000-. I don't want to get ripped off. Please help? Thank you.

If you're spending more than a few thousand dollars on your mobile home purchase, it might be wise to invest in a purchase inspection, appraisal or online valuation report. I found this National Auto Dealers Association online too, but it does cost at least $20:

Another possible option would be to hire an indpendent, local RV mechanic or RV dealer to inspect and/or appraiser who's familiar with used RV values. You can find RV sales and service businesses on Angie's List ( One tip that's applicable to both auto inspections and RV inspections: use your own pro, not someone the dealer or seller suggests.
