We are very familiar with the fibe classic doors and would love to give you an estimate on the project. Most painting contractors don't deal with gel stains as much as we do. There are 3 different kinds of stain; penetrating, wiping, and gel. Penetrating and wiping stains are designed to soak into a surface where as the gel stain is designed to sit on top of a surface which is why it is recommended for your type of door. You also need a contractor who is familiar with gel stain because it is easy to do poorly or screw up as well. We do about 20 doors a year with the "gel stain" product that pella is recommending. Please feel free to check out our angie's list profile or give us a call at 708-532-2340.

Hope this helps.

Angie's List Answers is a great place to get advice from professionals, but AngiesList.com is still the best spot for ratings, reviews and information on the services you need.
